What Formats?

PastPlay can take just about any videotape or film you’ve got, and transfer it to the media format of your choosing.

And, yes, of course… PastPlay returns your original materials to you, and if you’re in the domestic US,  we’ll even pay all the return shipping charges!

You give us:

Home Movies - Regular 8mm film or Super 8 film, Silent, color or B&W

PastPlay cleans, inspects and lubricates every film so you get the cleanest transfer possible!

Home Videos - VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, 8mm video, Hi-8, Digital 8 or Mini-DV.

PastPlay can even convert foreign VHS and DVD (PAL or SECAM formats) so you can view them on US equipment (NTSC format).

For home movies (film or video), we can put your memories on DVD (viewable in home DVD players), or Mini-DV.
